Proverbs 19:9-11

⁹ A false witness will not escape punishment,
    and the one who tells lies will perish.
¹⁰ It is not fitting for a fool to live in luxury,
    much less for a slave to rule over princes.
¹¹ A man with good sense is slow to anger,
    and he earns glory for overlooking an offense.
